The interview with the Doula went very well and we decided to hire Carol for some day and night help at the beginning (whenever that may be). We also had her come to the house for a Newborn Class individualized for triplets. It was very helpful - especially when she went through the house and made suggestions for changing stations, sleeping arrangements, and kitchen organization. It was very eye opening also! My mom and dad have a long to do list for this weekend. Glad I will be home and not in the hospital to help! We are changing the dining room into more of a baby room for downstairs. I'll post before and after pictures during the weekend.

Good news! Carol, the doula, sounds extremely helpful. Please keep us all posted.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Carol had some very practical ideas. That's great!
ReplyDeleteYes, Lots of ideas! We are using a crock pot to warm bottles, reorganized the kitchen for bottle prep, 3 clipboards for each baby to record feeding, sleeping, and changing schedules, set up a changing station with 3 swaddle blankets, 12 onesies, wipes, 30 diapers, and ointment - all for one day! We'll see how things go when they get here!
