2 Big Surprises Today!

Today was full of surprises for us!  I'll begin with the good surprise first! My dad's employees surprised my dad and my mom with a baby shower! They kept it a secret from my dad and kept him out of the conference room all day with a pseudo deposition story. They said he was very surprise and got to open all of the presents! So much fun! Here are some pictures that were sent to me from one of his generous employees. The cake is so cute!

The 2nd surprise occurred after my OB appointment where I got good news of no changes and thinking the babies will make it to 35-36 weeks (1st 2 weeks of December). MDM and I were very optimistic when we left the appointment.

Our optimism lasted for a few hours until my OB called me on the phone and told me I had elevated protein in my urine which is a symptom of preeclampsia.  They are not giving me the official diagnosis of preeclampsia yet, but it is close especially withe BP issue early in the week. My BP has been normal again for the past 2 days, but like with everything and triplets - they are being conservative. Soooo... bedrest started today! So glad MDM is here to help me for the weekend. He flies out Tuesday morning.  I will be admitted to the hospital for observation only probably on Monday after my specialist appointment. The final decision will be made Monday at the appointment, but I am supposed to bring my overnight bag to the appointment.  So I have three days to get everything in order! To say the least I am a little stressed right now. Let the list making begin!  I am moving all my appointments up - the doula interview, house cleaning, business stuff to get things accomplished. Luckily I went to the office today, before I got the news, to get a bunch of stuff to work on at home.

MDM is going to help me pack and get stuff in order over the weekend. I am so thankful he is here right now. We got to talk to both of his brothers today - the Houston and London Marshes so that was a special treat.

I will keep you posted on how things go on Monday with the specialist and promise to not post boring hospital pictures. I will figure out how to make 3-4 weeks of hospital observation fun! lol.
