Another great week!

This week, it's been back to work for me and that has taken some getting used to for the girls after a full week hanging out with mom and dad. They have been very clingy lately and all want to sit in my lap or be held when I come home from work. It tugs at my heart and makes me wish for a third arm and bigger lap!
On Tuesday we had a special visitor! Jessica, our nanny from this summer who is in PT school came by for a visit. The girls celebrate the occasion by putting on their owl hats. We had a great time showing the girls' walking skills to Jessica who helped the girls learn how to crawl. It was a great visit!

Iyla on the move - sorry for blurry, but really cute pic!

Playing on Saturday morning in the playroom - Denver Paige letting me know it was morning nap time.

Playing fetch with Izzie on Saturday morning. So great to get outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!

We went for a long run in Hardberger park and then came home to some more backyard fun!
Iyla remembered the water she found from the morning and went for some wet fun!

Nadine quickly joined in!

As did Denver Paige! As you guessed it.... I had 3 very wet, but very happy girls! So looking forward to summer and water play in the backyard!

Denver Paige tried some dirt and was all smiles!

The girls are very into exploring their environment. While MDM was home he and I did a major clean-out and reorganization of the house in the name of triplet safety. I continued this today by making a cabinet just for the girls. They enjoyed playing (i.e. pulling everything out of the cabinet I had so nicely organized earlier today) in their cabinet before bedtime. My next project is finding a new home for the recycle bin and trash can. They love "putting things in" so if I don't move the trash, we will be in for some involuntary house cleaning. You should see what I find in the laundry basket every day!

I am really enjoying my weekends with the girls. It is so much fun watching them discover new things. Now if I could get them to walk in the same direction, things would be fantastic! ha! And since we are dreaming...I wish HEB had a drive through for grocery staples, like milk and eggs. I really need some milk and eggs.  Might be venturing out tomorrow with the trio since Mia's not back till Monday.
Cheers to a sleepfilled night!
