Another first word, practicing standing, and more!

We are so thrilled with how well the girls are doing! They are so much fun to watch and play with, and love!  They are continuing to sleep through the night, but naps are not always consistent. They are fantastic eaters! They love all sorts of activities (being read to, lap sitting, standing, singing, swinging, being thrown up in the air, eating, crawling, etc), but most of all attention! When I pick up one I have to pick up each one and give them a hug good bye or big squeeze hello when I leave/return for work. When you climb into the playroom you are instantly attacked by three fabulous little humans all vying for your attention, love, and shoulder to use for support. It is wonderful!

Playroom today
At 5 months old
The updated playroom. How much it has changed since the 3 cribs were in there! It is a great place for the girls to play. It is a safe place for the girls to play; however, they still need to be watched.

This week Nadine has become more assertive and started to take things away from Iyla when Iyla is usually the one to take bottles, toys, plow over anything in her way. The top left picture is the girls' first triptych piece of art. Tons more artwork to come! And yes, the girls read what's in the file boxes.

Practicing standing! Aunt Amy provided the mix-n-match dresses.  The girls are practicing letting go and standing on their own. They are also getting really good at squatting and controlled sitting.

Newest swing created for the clinic this past week

Totally suspended obstacle course in my clinic - so much fun this week!

Never knew a table could be so much fun! Simple toys are the best! The girls taking turns (hahaha) crawling through the table.

Big smiles from Iyla! She is getting another tooth - an upper one and this time its not coming in over night! Finally seeing what "teething" really is. No teeth in sight for the twins yet.

Guess who said "mamma" as her first word on Wednesday???
2 talking, 1 to go!!

Hmmm... I wonder how this works???
Uh-oh!!!  I'm in trouble. I guess I need to triplet proof the house. Still in denial I guess. My friend, Shelby who has the adorable twins, said the minute she twin-proofed the house, they undid it. I see that happening since I already have everything in the playroom tied up with bungee cord because Iyla's found some way to pull it down.
