| Iyla - my busy body, but lover of sleep |
Nadine with her first big bruise on the noggin' because she was following Iyla while crawling onto the changing table shelf.
Denver Paige swinging on the platform swing for the first time. She'll loves to clap and hates for her mom to leave for work.
All smiles!
This will be our 11 month picture!

Izzie enjoyed playing fetch at the clinic today. She is doing great with the girls!
The past few days have been rough for sleep routines. We finally
had naps (using a pack-n-play in my room for Nadine is too busy for naps) and bedtime down, but then the weather changes. No one has ever slept in the nursery until the triplets, so I am quickly learning what I need to do to keep that room warm now when the temperature drops to 49 at night. Turning on the heater is the easy answer. We started letting the girls use quilts in the bed and they look like such big girls sleeping! Let's hope the quilts and double layers mean a full night sleep for me! I am tired. I hate the heater, especially since I just turned the AC off!
This weekend my dad came up and of course I had a project for him!
Back in May, I had my handyman, Ray, enlarge the patio so the girls had a safer place to play. The picture above shows the outline for the patio.
This weekend my dad and I stripped off two layers of maroon paint from the old patio to match the new addition patio. We also tested all the smoke alarms and added another water cistern (a converted water softener container) to catch rain water off the roof to help water the garden. Speaking of the fall/winter garden! I am loving picking my own salad greens and kale. The lavender and spearmint are fun herbs to add to the girls' food. Lavender is great with cranberries and squash. We have tried 6 different types of squash this fall with the girls. It has been fun to experiment with making their food. My mom and I are big into the Food Babe blog and all of her research into what really goes into foods. She recently did a big post on cereal, mainly Cheerios, and why they are so bad for you. It's very interesting and eye opening especially with an increase diagnosis of cancers; GI disorders like Crohn's; ADHD and autism (the last 2 I deal with on a daily basis). I'll get off my soap box now.

Tonight we fed the girls spaghetti squash and chicken for their first meal with bowls. It was fun to watch them eat and be so happy because they were feeding themselves! Izzie was ecstatic at the plethora of chicken she had for dinner.
We learned quickly those fancy suction bowls loose their suction quickly. The feeding table is working well so long as the girls don't grow much more and it is so easy to clean!
Good Night!
