5 months!!!

On April 16th, a year ago yesterday, was the day of the immaculate triplet conception. It was so romantic -an early, beautiful April Saturday morning, Mike and I together in one state, in the same city,  in the same house, in the same bed  (very rare for us) woke up and were very nervous about the big event. The big event! The night before we had a celebratory dinner at Myron's with my last glass of wine (okay maybe more than one) for hopefully nine+ months. It was so romantic him and I together... and a procedure room full of nurses and doctors!! lol I know I had you going!

Honestly, I am not shy about telling people I used IVF to get pregnant after 4 years of trying.  I was very happy with our fertility experience. I am thankful we were given the opportunity to try IVF, could even get pregnant, and been blessed to give birth to healthy offspring. You would be surprised how often complete strangers ask me that very personal question about the success rate of my female organs. Yes, every one has a story. We are not as rare as spontaneous identical triplets, but I find ours unique being monozygotic (identical) and dizygotic (fraternal) triplets. Take you back to freshman high school biology?

I cannot believe they are 5 months now! Here are some pictures from this week. I tell them every day a new adventure or place I cannot wait for them to experience! MDM and I have so many plans for them!!
