1st Retail Experience!

Today the girls had their first retail experience at HEB's Central Market! Always up for a challenge!! We decided to take the girls because my mom is helping me with the catering of the clinic's Open House so we wanted to talk to the caterer and the florist in person. Little did we know, my mom and I got very little time to talk since there were so many people coming up to me asking me questions about the triplets. One mom, of triplets, took out her phone and showed me a picture of her triplets as toddlers and as now college graduates. Luckily she didn't have a full scrapbook. ;)  We got stopped every 5 feet, but did get the food and flowers ordered. We also managed to get a little food for us. Our glasses of wine were well deserved tonight once we got home!

As you can see below I did not go with the triplet stoller. Of course, a very lovely lady pointed out to me in the store that they do make triplet strollers. I thought that was so nice of her. lol. We went with the Baby Bjorn and the double umbrella for ease with the doors and in the aisles. I could steer the stroller with one hand while feeding Nadine with the other. Yes, that happened (see bottle in drink holder). The girls were so well behaved which I think will be the only time in a grocery store that happens. We decided Nadine would ride in the Bjorn since she is smaller and as you can see Iyla and Denver Paige were rolling in the stroller. I did find out you cannot have one baby in the Bjorn and get another baby out of the middle seat in a suburban. That will be a tricky task to solve if I am ever by myself. That last sentence is written for me to remember that useful tip in the future. :)

When we arrived home there were large boxes on the front porch! My letters are paying off. Triple Paste sent the girls what is pictured below from my request to join their Triplet Program. Such a score of 3 cans diaper rash cream, 3 bottles of shampoo, 3 Triple Paste for Triplets organic onesies, and 3 bears, and 3 bottles of sensitive skin lotion - all free!!  I think we are set on diaper paste now till college!

The girls also received 492 diapers (quick do the math to see how long they will last!), 800 wipes, and 6 cans of formula from their MIMI and PAPAW who are arriving tomorrow for a visit! Thank you MIMI and PAPAW! Can't wait to see you!!
