It was Super Hero Week at my clinic. The girls stopped by for their weekly therapy visit and had a great time using their muscles and having fun!

Friday afternoon the girls and I checked out everything in preparation for Saturday's C2S workday!

Checking out the craft room!

Friday night we went over to Bre and Carter's (MDM's partner) for dinner and met Baby Liam!! He's so cute. The girls had a blast doting over him and eating Bre's great food!

From Kim about the Camp To Success Workday!
All night I've been trying to search for the perfect words. I have none. We've been preparing for this day for over four years. What would it be like for us to have our own space to call our own. To call home. What it would look like. What would the spaces in the yard consist of.
Yesterday for the first time the Camp to Success Family and our extended Pediatric Therapy Specialists Family came together for our Fall Workshop.
Everyone saw Basecamp together for the first time. Everyone worked the land, laughed, made lunch, and built community together for the first time. The first of so many to come.
Usually when we have workshops we are learning with each other, swimming, or maybe crafting. Yesterday it was absolutely incredible to see the talents of all of our families, siblings, and volunteers.
Gardening, construction, yard work, sewing, building, creating non-toxic sprays, cooking, unbelievable strength, engineering, organization, and just plain fun.
For over a year I've walked the acre and wondered what it would look like with 200 beautiful amazing family members to fill the space. And yesterday it exceeded my dreams. The air was filled with love and joy and the most incredible people wanting to give of their talents.
As I left Basecamp last night I left with the most joyous heart. We have love, we have good, we have this community, this family that we have built and now we have a home.

My cup runneth over. -Kim & Team C2S
