Stomach Bug Sucks

Sorry- thought this had posted....
This week was hard. It really sucks being a single mom, especially when your girls are sick. The stomach bug hit us hard Thursday morning. I had mom guilt going to work. It was a hard week at work, but didn't shine a light to the craziness at home taking care of 3 sick girls all weekend. The poop and throw up didn't stop.
Iyla playing the guitar for clean up time
Ready for school on Tuesday. Trying to get all the wear out of our summer clothes since it's still hitting 90.
All ready to go Thursday morning to Mommy's work. Right after this picture things went south quickly.
The girls felt a little better on Saturday morning (you can't tell by their faces) and we ventured to the Farmer's Market with my college friend Sarah Hall (in the black and white during our rehearsal dinner below) who is in town this week for a conference.

Making muffins to get through the day on Saturday. The girls love this recipe! http://www.superhealthykids.com/power-packed-fruit-and-veggie-muffin-for-picky-eaters/
Sunday- the girls on the mend. They love picking out their own clothes and dressing in my clothes and/or shoes.
My first selfie with the girls. Trying to capture their first train ride.  Obviously. I need more practice with the selfies. They were about 50/50 enthusiastic about the train.
Loved working on my garden the past 2 weekends in this cooler weather planting my fall garden. The girls got free plants at the Farmer's market. I planted their spearmint and peppermint and more kale, pineapple, cauliflower, and broccoli today. I found these humongous grub worms in my garden today. Yuck! That is a quarter. Bring on the nematodes!

Less than a week till MDM comes home for the weekend. I can't wait. The girls miss him dearly.
Hopefully this week everyone will be healthy, back in school and happy.
