Croup hits the Marshketeers

Croup hit the girls on Tuesday afternoon starting with Denver Paige. Thought it got Iyla Wednesday but just a bad cold. Nadine came home after school with a fever and no voice (just like DP) on Friday. It's been a stressful week at work and little sleep for me. MDM has been great calling in and checking up, reassuring me and diagnosing everyone correctly thousands of miles away. Yes, he's that good💜❤️💙!
I was so happy to have my family in town this weekend to help out. Celebrating my dad's birthday and Amy's belated birthday was extraordinarily special!!!
Before school on Friday

Friday afternoon was supposed to be gorgeous weather perfect for Chloe's 3rd
birthday party. About 2 hours before, her mother and I decided to move the party indoors to my clinic because it was only 54 degrees. Loved explaining that one to Mike as I picked up the girls from school, scheduled a doctor's appointment for Nadine and went to prepare the clinic for the party. My mom was a pro already at taking one girl each to the doctor. It was her third time this week. Yay Mia! Big Jim got to go along as well for Nadine's appointment.
Happy Birthday Big Jim!!!
Wake up Amy!! Loved having Amy here!!!!
Storytime Saturday
New swing set!
Higher and faster swings! The chain just wasn't cutting it for swinging. The girls were getting really frustrated with enertia and forces of gravity (not sure if I'm using correct science words but sounds good) since they have been growing only 2 swings would swing and the 3rd would just bounce.  Not as much fun. After much diliberation over the weeks, my dad and I got to a solution.  My dad used the boom from the 1950 boat Whim 2 that he and his father built. Very special that it now has a second life with the girls!!  Don't worry we weight tested it above 100 lbs! The combined girls weight is 85#. DPM= 30; IDM = 28; NEM = 26 based on this week's MD appointments. Pushing the stroller is 100#.
Planting a peach tree for Daddy!

MDM got his bday present early to coincide with the planting seasons! We planted a peach and avocado tree this weekend! So we have pomegranate, Meyer Lemon, Bonanza Peach and Hass avocado trees in addition to our garden! Will be so much fun for the girls as they grow!
Everyone was a big help! The girls do great when given jobs!!  They are so helpful!!!
Hopefully this next week will be all smiles like DPM here! She said her full name this week!! They are talking so much now!!
