Baptism!!! - Updated with more photos!

The girls got baptized on Sunday May 5th at the First United Methodist Church in CC. We picked FUMCC  because MDM and I were married there 10 years ago this July by Gloria. We were very excited to be able to have Gloria be a part of the baptism before she retired in June. All our family came out to help MDM and I celebrate the girls' beginning journey with the Lord. It was a wonderful service and a fabulous celebration! We are so appreciative of our family helping us with the girls. Our family traveled many hours, even after traveling all week with work and derby to be there Sunday morning. It was the first triplet baptism for the church and it was wonderful!
The day was so special for MDM and I and we were so glad to share it with family and friends. I loved seeing our nieces, Kate and Jane help/play with the girls. It was also so great to see all my parents' friends at the church service. I haven't received all the pictures, especially the church ones, from my parents and MDM's parents so I will be posting those probably next week. My parents are enjoying a much needed week of vacation since MDM is home.

I wanted to get a better picture of the girls in these beautiful dresses, but as you can see in the picture, Iyla takes a hand to Nadine's face and it all over for hoping for smiles after that!

MDM showing Nadine our garden

I have been working hard on our garden. We are growing squash, zucchini, pomegranates, avocados, blackberries, blueberries, tomatoes, grapes (MDM's small start at a vineyard). MDM showed Nadine the garden today. Hopefully we will have something delicious to eat soon!!
