Big Milestone Met!! Made it to 28 weeks and doing well! Katie took this picture of me when she came over for a visit today. Also pictured is my recliner, a piece of furniture I never thought I would own, but its the only thing I can sit it for long periods of time. Soon I will be sleeping in it! Izzie, of course, is on her ever watchful guard of me. Obviously we haven't started baby proofing since my drums are still in reach of little ones. I think we have some time for that. Hopefully the girls will be cooking for many more weeks!
Went to my OB today and got a good report back. My glucose test was normal. I got all my questions answered and she said the babies are doing well. I told her the girls were all moving and grooving. Sometimes my tummy can get very lopsided when they are moving a lot. MDM and I are contemplating cord/tissue banking. My OB wishes she had done it because she has a child with special needs. I am still doing research on it.
This Tuesday was my first boss' day! That was a good feeling. My fabulous staff generously gave me a Starbucks gift card - they know my love of coffee. Construction started this week on the new clinic! I proofed the new outside sign and next Wednesday I get to pick the carpet, tile. Very exciting. In June, I thought by the time I picking out samples for the new clinic I was to be sure on bed rest. I am so thrilled I am doing so well. The clinic is almost a year old as well and I can't wait to celebrate that small victory in November!
