Making kale hearts to put in various dishes
On Valentines Day Kristen and I were twinning!
First BASIS soccer game on Saturday
They did well for their first game. Denver and Nadine played the whole game as center back defenders right in front of the goal. Iyla started off half back as then moved up to forward winger and enjoyed running all over the field. We lost 0-3 but the other team had already played 2 games and they are the best of our school league so this week’s games will be better. We have 2 games this week.
The girls NEHS certificates were hung up on our award wall
Puppy training is still happening. Lots of patience.
She enjoys being outside when the sun is out. She is pooping outside 100% but not peeing. A work in progress.
After being outside all day, the girls decided to go swimming Sunday. Iyla was the first one in.
Denver jumped all the way in
Nadine jumped in at the deepest point. It is currently 60 degrees.
MDM bought me a standing mixer on Sunday. My first one and it is sooooo wonderful!
We made King Cake first in honor of Mardi Gras this week. Our King cake doesn't look that great but it was yummy!
Happy family! Looking forward to making more fun meals with the standing mixer.
