Winter Break and Caroling

The grinch came by my office this week! The kids loved it! It was so nice of the Shavano police department.

My first three volumes arrived of the blog! They turned out great! So excited for the next 6 volumes! Lots of editing to do! The girls loved reading them which in turn resulted in a plethora of questions!

Denver came in town Wednesday to Saturday to complete his CMEs at a local cardiology conference. We went and drove around looking at Christmas lights with Denver/PaPa on Thursday night. The girls loved seeing all the lights and listening to Christmas music. I am sad I didn't get a picture.

I hosted the 3rd grade party as the room mom for Ms. Growcock! Was a smashing success with a snowman drawing contest, lots of treats, and making snowman ornaments! It was my 3rd year to be room mom by myself, but I enjoy being able to go into the girls' classroom and help.  Next year we will be separating the girls, so I won't be able to be room mom.

Friday night the girls went to Six Flags for their birthday present from Amelia and Kristen. They had a blast riding all the rides!
While they were gone, I hung out with my triplet mom friends, Kerry (has 2 identical boys and 1 fraternal girl) and Kerrie (has 2 identical girls and 1 fraternal boy) and then had dinner with Denver and Mike.

All smiles under the lights!

Sunday night we went caroling in the neighborhood with hot chocolate. It was fun to sing and get to know the neighbors.

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is sing loud for all to hear!

The girls will be hanging out with Ms. Pena (their old PreK teacher) Monday-Wednesday while we work. They are so excited and making a huge Lego town in DPM's room which is pretty much all Lego. We will be spending Christmas here in SA. I am teaching the girls to wrap presents this year and we will be baking and cooking starting on Thursday.
