Swinging high in CF Kids
Teacher Conferences were Wednesday.
I took pictures of some of their work while I was waiting.

The girls were accepted into the Green Club which starts this Tuesday. They are excited to help keep the school more ecologically sound and beautiful. The club meets after school for an hour every other Tuesday till the end of the year.

The girls are rocking 3rd grade. Their teacher was very complimentary of all three of them. Straight As for the 1st 9 weeks for all three.
Saturday night we ventured out to the Día de los Muertos Celebration at Hemisphere Park
We dined on the best chicken kabobs and made it in time for the small parade.
The girls climbed all over the play structures.

We discovered some familiar faces! It was fun to see Kristen and Amelia - two of our favorite people
Update on the pool project. It is going very slow. Very slow!! A trench was dug. Lots of leaks fixed this week. We are fixing things along the way so that is also adding to the time.
So want the gas to be hooked up so so I can grill. Definitely missing my grill.
Saturday, Iyla and I moved a lot of river rocks to different places in the yard. We made a rock path and just had fun being together outside.
Sunday we tried to attack one of the big roots of the horrible creeper vine that took the wall (that started this whole mess) and is slowing coming back covering the house. It took a lot of strength and effort. Iyla was a huge help.
Sunday morning we all went for a 3.2 mile hike. The girls did awesome! We are enjoying doing more things with them like night festivals and longer, harder hikes now that they are older.
Iyla climbed the playground rock wall after the hike.
