I completely forgot to post about us catching the UT Horns playing in the Elite 8 NCAA Women's Basketball game last week! Gail joined us for the fun! The game was more fun to watch with the girls because they loved all the music and excitement of their first college game!

Our fire pit is finally finished!
Saturday we ventured to the Pearl for some tacos and people watching. MDM was not on call so we got to enjoy the morning as a family for some fun! We stopped by the Twig to see a sight that will never get old!
Swimming Friday and Sunday! Our water is now 75 degrees so the girls tolerate it pretty well. It is still too cold for MDM and I. We are enjoying walks around the neighborhood together (while they are not swimming obviously) and hanging out on the back porch hoping our plants will start sprouting soon!
Our upstairs AC is not working that great since 3 girls leave the backdoor open constantly so they have been sleeping downstairs in the dining room since Friday. Hopefully we will have it fixed soon. This week will be crazy busy for us! I am reading to six 2nd grade classes of Fort Sam Houston Elementary tomorrow in honor of the Week of the Military Child. I have my huge 4 hour talk on Feeding on Friday. I also got a $5000.00 grant for my PAALS program to help adolescents ages 13-21 with special needs. Super exciting! Lots of work in between Monday and Friday! Only 34 days till school is out!
