We survived the first week!! Barely! We tried every pick up and drop off to figure out which worked better for us. The girls struggled with getting up so early. School starts at 7:30 so our goal was to be there by 7:20! A lot different from 9am start time. I had to change my workout time to get them ready and out the door by 7am. We made it all week with no tardies! lol. Lots of night before prep and easy hairdos in the morning!

Walking to school on the first day! We live too close to the school to take the bus. We park at the neighborhood pool and have a less than 15 min walk from car to school front door. One day we drove - that took longer. I tried parent walk up 4 days waiting 20+ minutes in the hot sun and Friday I did carpool lane - much better, but dealt with crazy moms in the carpool lane - truth! I'll get the hang of it! The night before prep for school takes the longest!

I did not do a good job planning after school child care this week so the girls came to work with me pretty much every day. They loved it! A little stressful for me!

Labor Day Weekend! We spent time together as a family this weekend. MDM and I see the school week going by very fast with not a lot of quality time together since it takes some much time to get these girls ready for school the night before. We loved working 10 puzzles, swimming, cooking, water balloons, and magnatiles. The one pictured is 1000 pieces. We've been working 500 pieces or more.
