Hand-me-down Monday! Sam - a dancer and her mom is a close friend brought of a bag of Sam's old dance costumes! The girls were so excited!! Thank you Barri!
Watermelon Wednesday! Storytime and watermelon! Great combo! The girls are loving camp! They are learning Hebrew, Spanish and read in English! There was a truck theme this week. By the fact their hair was done means it was a good morning for us. I am being spoiled with the short hair and summer. I get away with not doing their hair a lot. The counselors/teachers take pity on them and they come home with immaculate hair dos. Where are they at 8am every morning??
Friday night was interesting to say the least. I was attempted to cook pancakes but then got called into bath time to wipe bottoms. That turned into to 2 bottoms and when I got back to the kitchen. I only saw smoke and flames. I yelled for MDM, grabbed the fire extinguisher and pulled the pin. Lesson learned. Fire Extinguishers make a HUGE mess!!!! Next time I will put a dish towel on the oil fire, but we got it out without the girls knowing what happened. Ensure 2000 questions. 
Saturday was an emotional day for me. We sold our Runabout stroller to a family with 20 month old B/G twins and a 5 month old. It wasn't just a stroller to me. I really tried to convey that to the father who came to pick it up. I think he thought I was crazy because I kept talking to him about how great it was. He just started talking to MDM. I made sure he latched it down properly to his truck.
I just hope he appreciates how much I cleaned the last 5 years of use off in the last hour!!
Only my mom understands the freedom this stroller brought me. Five fantastic, very special ladies bought this stroller for us back in 2012 and I so much appreciate it!!!
IT WAS THE BEST GIFT EVER!!!
The gift of freedom. I used it every single day from 2013-2105 and maybe 2016. I ran and walked 1000 of miles pushing it and so did my mom. I ran 4 5Ks pushing it. My last one in 2018 - I was pushing 135#. The only reason why I stopped using it was it was very heavy to push and the girls were getting way too big for it. #nolegroom
This past year.
I know this is just a timestamp in the girls' lives. They are growing up and soon going to Kinder. They don't need a stroller anymore. BUT!! I am just loving this age and want them to stay so innocent and asking a billion questions every day. I don't want them to grow up.
Helping with puppy sitting - Meet Murray the puppy. The girls were great in getting Murray outside to potty. In the 30 minutes we were helping made me realize we were not ready for a puppy even though I want a 2nd dog so badly!
In the spirit of cleaning and purging our house this weekend... We moved our succulents outside. We found a great hole in a backyard tree and planted the succulents making our backyard fairy garden! Complete with wrestlers. Not sure were those came from but every fairy garden needs wrestlers.
We did a lot of cleaning and purging this weekend. Everyone was very helpful!!
