We joined a local CSA - community supported agriculture - a local farm delivers their weekly harvest to us. The girls enjoyed seeing all of the colorful veggies and fruits and learning about them. The watermelon was their favorite!
I gave a teacher training talk on Wednesday morning at the girls school which went very well. The girls will be back in school for 2 weeks for the last summer session!! Hooray! Hopefully they will be too tired for their late night antics that I dealt with this week. Three smart girls scheming at night or anytime is fascinating to watch.
Tuesday night they ate a whole tube of toothpaste and had a water party at the sink/floor. So much for the faucet locks. I just had to laugh. It was hilarious! Wednesday they turned on their main light and just played. The light switch locks just arrived via Amazon. Thursday night they were doing headstands (Thank you Drew and Cousin Jane for your educational handstand videos) and jumping so much they knocked pictures off the wall. Thankfully they did not fall on the girls. Friday, they busted their bouncy house because they were jumping over the top of it roughhousing. I have 3 very active monkeys.
Friday and Saturday the girls and I hosted the 3rd Annual Camp to Success packing party at my clinic. We had a great time with lots of friends and packed 70 trunks for the girls to go to camp next week!
Trunks full of smiles and laughter!
Story time break with the Storytime Chicks!
Iyla the monkey!
Denver Paige getting love from Aunt Amy!
Trunks ready to go!
Celebrating the packing party is over!! We've known the Durham sisters since going to camp with them in the 80s.
