Potty Training. #303 #404 #505
Let's have a 24 hour Potty Training Update....because as mentioned just over 24 hours ago...I am the self proclaimed potty training expert after potty training two children....Duh.
So, I drop off the kids yesterday morning at school and see Elizabeth pulling in (unusually late)....she rolls down the window- all three girls "had" to go potty on the way to school (7 minute drive) using the Potette Plus Potty...but how many of them actually went....one...one. Yep.
Just to keep everyone informed- I personally didn't have any potty training accidents while the kids were at school.
Then I go to pick up the kids- I'm walking down the hall. And you see it. You see the shaming plastic bag tied to the backpack. What went wrong!?!? It's all in the aiming...luckily he was on the toilet! And I can only hope he wasn't holding it saying "it's my penis- here's my penis- that my penis" pointing it everywhere!
So it's play date day with the triplets. And naturally on our way out of school Nadine has to go to the bathroom. So all 5 kids have to go to the bathroom....obviously.
I think we were in the sanctuary restroom for roughly 8 minutes. And in the 8 minutes (which is an eternity). Iyla had an accident. Nadine crawled under the stall and unlocked the door while Elizabeth was using the restroom. Lolos peed with Denver Paige yelling at his penis "what's that?" Chloe was "helping" the girls go potty which is super helpful! They did however all wash their hands using a vast amount of paper towels.
Picking the play date place is also a challenge. Because if you don't pick a place with a close enough potty....get ready to run!
But it's always a reminder that if a self proclaimed potty trained expert can't come up with ten potty training tips....she in fact is a liar and knows NOTHING ABOUT POTTY TRAINING!!!!! And if you haven't potty trained triplets - you're weak!

I am still loathing every minute of potty training. I now have extra clothes and undies every where. Everywhere. I am thankful we've been given so many hand-me-downs, because we are using them!! I do laundry every night now. No, I don't separate darks/whites - haven't separated for over 10 years now with no issues. I was down to every two days just so it didn't get overwhelming, but with the accidents - it gets gross. Let's do this already! We started last April.

Walking with my trainers before the run Saturday night. Wasn't sure if they would give me the beads back. Ran my fastest 5K to date! When its nighttime - there's not much to look at so I just ran!

Sunday morning trip to library and its playground
I've been letting the girls pick the library books and it is so much faster with 3 little illiterate people handing you such a wide array of books. Their favorite subject matter is transportation, dinosaurs, princesses, and animals. They are crazy about transportation and construction right now. We left the library with 21 books and I smiled at the "family friendly" sign by the automatic door that the girls were making open and close repeatedly.
