Happy Easter!!

Toddler beds happened on Wednesday afternoon. The girls did not nap, destroyed their room and this was the result at 6pm that night. My business partner Eric came over while my nanny Kristen fed the girls dinner. Eric helped me change the beds into toddler beds and vacate the room of anything dangerous or climbable. The girls were so excited about their big girl beds.

Early Friday morning the girls and I left for CC. We departed about 7:30 which was pretty good considering I woke them up at 7am. I was pretty proud of myself for getting everything all packed and ready. My goal was 7am, but 30 minutes late wasn't too bad.
We were heading to CC for the girls' first boat trip, to see my grandmothers, and celebrate Easter. The girls have not seen their Mia in a month so they were very eager to see her.

My dad loving every minute of showing the girls the marina and the boat.

Love Denver Paige's face when the boat gained speed!
Ranita, Eric, Rylie, and Jackson joined us on the trip!

Great thing about being home is finding baby pictures of yourself - who does this look like?

Toddler fun at nap time. I took their mattresses this time and that worked better for sleeping except for the first nap on Friday. We forgot to empty Mia's desk drawer. Uh-Oh!

Ranita gave the girls these great dresses in their colors! So cute! We wore them to the Botanical Garden's Big Bloom Saturday morning! So fun! The girls got to participate in a lady bug release! They wanted nothing to do with the Easter Bunny, but loved touching snakes!

My dad and I snuck away during nap time on Saturday to swim some laps! Was great fun to spend some time with him!
The stage is set for the Easter hunt. It was too wet outside to hunt eggs. Maybe next year.

The girls in their Easter Dresses! Thanks Sharon!!!!

I decided, not with much encouragement or determination that we would embrace 2 of the girls' need to try training pants. Well Nadine stayed dry for the 2 hours. Iyla pooped twice and had 1 urine accident right at dinner. The training pants provided a good lesson in what being wet really felt like. Nadine pooped less than 5 minutes after I put the nighttime diaper on her. Awesome. An hour after bed, both Iyla and Nadine had both their diapers off, Iyla had peed all over her clean sheets and clothes. I think Iyla secretly wants to be a nudist.
Sparing you naked pictures - here's Nadine. This sums up my day. Hope this week goes well! Happy Easter! Praise the Lord!      A little over one month till MDM is home again!!
