A Great Week!

Climbing at Parman Library before story time on Wednesday. My  mom and nanny take the girls to the local library story time.

Denver Paige  - I need to post a picture of me at this age. DPM looks so much like me.

To prepare for my talk to the Masters of Occupational Therapy students at UTHSCSA on Friday I've been taking pictures of the girls eating.

My mom took pictures on Thursday at dinner also - I thought what followed was hilarious!

Guess her arm got tired. lol

My talk went well and they asked me to return every semester to give the talk on feeding. I think it was because I had such cute feeding models and I gave out free food!
No more pack-n-plays - our new sleeping bags!

The girls love their new sleeping bag! Denver Paige had the idea to have a picnic on them on Friday.

I spent the weekend with the girls.  A much needed break for me from work after a very busy week. I had so much fun with the girls! We had a great weekend together filled with laughter, and we did things I would have normally done by myself, but I just brought the girls along and it went so well! I took them to HEB, for run in the park, and to the local nursery to get our fall plants. I got stopped a dozen times at HEB and nursery with questions about the girls. I got the usual way too personal questions about ...
my ability to reproduce...
do they have different personalities?
they don't look identical are you sure? wait they do. okay they are identical, but that one is not, she's dark haired. Can't wait to explain fertility and reproduction to the girls at age 5 when they understand what these people are really saying about them. fantastic!
But on the bright side - two very nice people said how well the girls were behaved. That made me smile sooo big!!
Picnic outside today! We loved the cooler weather.

Getting plants for our fall garden. We are now growing kale, rainbow chard, bell peppers, tomatoes, basil, mint, parsley, squash, pomegranates, lemons, blackberries, blueberries and MDM's small one pot vineyard.  (Obviously some are year-round plants and will not bloom again till summer)

The girls were so great and stayed in the wagon the whole time. It was cute! The nursery had roosters and hens running around so the girls loved seeing them up close.  We also saw a doe with 3 babies on our run this morning. They ran right in front of the stroller and all the girls saw them! So great!

7 more weeks till MDM comes home which means 8 more weeks before the girls turn 2!!!  Yes, I have started planning their birthday party - well the theme, place (same as last year), and who's making the cake (same as last year) is done - you know the important things = cake.
