I love this picture of the girls because it captures their spirits perfectly! They are such happy girls! I am loving watching them play together! Tonight before bed we worked on clapping to "if you're happy and you know it" and tickling each other. The tickling quickly turned in to hitting each other in the face, so we're working on the word "gentle" now.
Another reason why I love this picture is that they are all looking at the camera! A first in awhile! I hope this happens when we take our first professional pictures (1st birthday and holiday) on the 19th! I am excited about the professional pictures. MDM and I have never taken professional pictures except for our wedding day.
This week has been tough for me - little sleep, lots of time at work, lots of coffee, and little conversation with MDM because of his work schedule.
Little sleep because the girls are in full fledged teething I think I can say with certainty. Iyla has 4 teeth, Nadine has 1, and Denver Paige has 1 (as of this morning).
For those of you wondering about the identical twins' 1st tooth. They were about a week apart. I thought they would pop a tooth on the same day being identical, but what's more fun than spreading out the teething love??
For us teething has come with erratic sleep patterns, lots of poop, waking up our sisters, and chewing on everything. When I say lots of poop... I mean 3-4 times per day per child. That's 9-12 diapers total of just poop! We are going through diapers and wipes like crazy right now!
Usually the girls poop once a day - very tolerable averaging 5-6 diapers/day/girl for a total of about 15-18 diapers/day.
I am certainly ready for the weekend to be here! This weekend will be special! We are celebrating my grandmother's 88th birthday! Lots of pictures to come! Just need to go pack the entire house in the car now. Good Night!
