A Very Special Weekend!!

My NOLA girls came to visit!!! I loved being able to show Sharon, Kim and, Lori - all OTs I greatly look up to, my clinic!! A little history on who these special ladies are... Sharon, my boss in NOLA before and after OT school (2003-2008) whom I learned so much from, Kim, my co-worker and BFF, Lori, my co-worker, BFF, and old roomie when she was a traveling OT in SA. These are the 3 main reasons why I became an OT!! We have visited each other back and forth between NOLA and SA. I was so thrilled to have them come visit and meet the triplets!

We had a wonderful weekend full of laughs, wine, and OT for the girls!! It is the first time the triplets were out numbered and it was sooo easy! hahaha! I loved being able to hide in the background while they answered questions about the triplets and got to feel like celebrities. The triplet fan fare was much less with the single and double strollers and 4 women.
Kim, Lori, and Sharon's goal was to get me out of the house and have some fun - with or without the girls! We had some fun and I LOVED it!! We went to El Mirasol - the triplets' first restaurant on Friday afternoon after seeing my clinic. I grilled Friday night. Saturday morning we went to Becker Vineyards for the 2nd time. Why take kids to the zoo, when you can go to a vineyard? Yes, they remembered me and the triplets from our May visit. :) Saturday we went to dinner at Wildfish for a much needed girls' night out, and Sunday brunch at the Guenther House. The triplets did fantastic and got OT all weekend long! So much fun!!!
