Made it to 21 weeks and girls are moving and grooving in my tummy! So excited Mike will be able to feel them move this weekend!! I haven't had any hard kicks but they are definitely slight pushes outward and flipping inside.
Fruit is still my favorite thing to eat because it is so hot. I am trying to eat a lot of protein as well. I am also drinking lots of water to keep the contractions away. Sometimes to get fancy or after a hectic day at work (like today) I'll put my Central Market sparkling water in a wine glass. It's the little things. My favorite thing to do during the day is come home and take a nap after lunch if my schedule allows me to.
Our first baby gift off the registry arrived today from one of MDM's aunt and uncles and it sort of cemented that this is actually happening. Not sure why the small keg I am carrying around or the plethora of ultrasound pictures of 3 moving/growing babies hasn't but I guess when other people start giving you things.... it makes it more real? Not sure, but I think I am a little in denial about all of this just because I've wanted it for so many years and now it is really happening in a huge...wait for it... triple size way. lol. I don't know if it is denial or just wanting three healthy babies to make it past 34 weeks. The Positive Polly in me says its the latter.
MDM and I are working on names this weekend. Finding 6 girl names we agree on should be fun! lol. Today at the clinic we put up a long pink roll of paper on the wall for the kids and parents to help name the girls which should be very interesting. Great fine/visual motor activity! I will post a picture of it soon!
